I've been crushing hard on this adorable Belgian for a few years now. Perhaps one day we will meet and fall in love over our mutual respect for innovative design but until then I'll settle for admiring his amazing aesthetic from afar. T Magazine just had a wonderful little piece about his inspiration for the Jil Sander Fall 2009 Ready-to-Wear line which came from his admiration for the work of ceramicist Pol Chambost. Raf has been creative director of Jil Sander since 2005 and also has his own line, Raf by Raf Simons.
