Over the years, Grandma Koch has given me many gems and here is a great example of one. The style of the dress is so elegantly fifties and the lavender color is a breath of fresh, well, lavender really. But alas, I am not a lady for dresses where you actually need a chest since I am rather lacking and as much as I love that classic fifties look, my ever changing hair style makes most of those dresses appear a little silly on me. I gave this one to my dear friend Marielle, who is one of the most beautiful people that I know, on the inside and out. On her the dress fit perfectly and the lavender quite suited her olive tones, far better than my pasty white. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to pass on a great G.Koch piece to a dear friend.
